{"id":303,"date":"2024-11-06T19:55:41","date_gmt":"2024-11-06T19:55:41","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.kingsmeadhoney.co.uk\/?p=303"},"modified":"2024-11-19T16:40:08","modified_gmt":"2024-11-19T16:40:08","slug":"another-week-another-honey-show","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.kingsmeadhoney.co.uk\/?p=303","title":{"rendered":"Another week, another Honey Show"},"content":{"rendered":"\r\n<p>This time it was the local Mid Cheshire Beekeepers Annual Honey Show on Monday evening (4<sup>th<\/sup> November) at Toolerstone.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>We entered 17 classes and am pleased to say that we managed to come away with a number of first, second or third prizes in Honey, wax and mead but our confectionary, even though it tastes delicious, failed to make the top three.\u00a0 We still managed to win the most points<br \/><br \/>It was good to hear some positive comments from the National Honey judge in that both our wax and mead would be good enough to be entered ( and maybe win) the national show, so that leaves us with food ( or drink) to consider!
